My First Meme

Hi-De-Ho!
Unfortunately my first meme isn't a fisher-price toy, but oh well. I got tagged by Mark of KOTGD fame, here are the instructions:
Eight Things...

The Rules are: Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
Well I am not going to tag eight people, because I don't know that many in the blog world yet, but if you feel like doing this meme, go for it.

  1. I can wiggle my ears.
  2. I love the Beatles.
  3. I get white line fever when I play sport.
  4. I have been to every state in Australia.
  5. I have mild dyslexia. I can't note down phone numbers when they are said to me, and I confuse February and November, just to name a couple of the problems.
  6. I hardly ever wear a bra. I prefer support cami tops.
  7. The fastest I have ridden my motorbike is 265km/h.
  8. I've broken about 50 bones in my body.

There you have it. Any questions, just ask.
Oh, before I forget, I guess I better add some photos to this post. Just some random ones today, I'll pick a subject again next blog post.
Rock Out,
Sara-Lee.

Do not look at laser beam with remaining eye

Hi-De-Ho!
Something a bit different today, no photos, just a video clip. Now don't worry, I haven't run out of photos, far from it. I just thouight these nice simple laser tricks, were a nice way to start the week.

Flooding the drought away

Hi-De-Ho!
It is currently winter here in Australia. Thankfully this year it looks like we are getting a wet winter. For about the last 7 or 8 years we have been in drought, bit now it looks like the start to the breaking of the drought is happening.
In Gippsland there has been flooding. Flooding so bad that a weir that was bone dry empty, has now been flooded full. Hopefully now we can get some more rain in the catchment areas, so we can have a sustainable future.

Now onto the photoshopped photos.
In searching for photos on the net, no matter what I type into the search engine to find photos, one subject matter keeps coming up.
Now with these photos I am not making a stand about religion at all. All I am doing is showing some of the excellent, and funny work out there. So please enjoy.
Rock Out,
Sara-Lee.

Sorry and dogs

Hi-De-Ho!
So what is it with people saying "sorry" these days? Ever since our PM refused to say the word, it has snowballed out of control.
As an example, the other day, I was in an elevator. It got to the floor that a woman who was standing at the back wanted to get off at. So as she went to get past everyone, she said "Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry..., sorry".
Now in my day, and it was not that long ago, I'd say about three weeks ago, if you wanted to get past someone, you would say "excuse me please". If the person you were politely requesting to move, didn't do so by the third time you asked, then you could barge right through them. At that point, you might say sorry, but only to the person the dimwit fell onto.
It seems to me, that people have become even lazier with the use of the English language, so the word "sorry" has just become a mean it all word. If someone says sorry to me, I just stand there and ask them what they are sorry for. After all, they haven't done anything, and unless they are very evil, they are not likely to do anything either.

Now in the last post, I displayed a few photoshopped photos of kittens. So I thought it was only fair that I should do the same with dogs. One slight problem, people don't photoshop dogs, they actually do to dogs. So enjoy the photos.

Reasons and kittens

Hi-Do-Ho,
Well, it looks like blogger is being nice to me now. Maybe they have read my previous post.

OK, so what is this blog about? Nothing really. I'm just going to occasionally post stuff. No politics, no thoughtful stuff, just a little bit of fun every now and then.

So to begin with, some photos I stole off the net featuring kittens. Now I don't like cats, but I would never harm one. But that is not to say we can't have a good laugh at some excellent photoshopping once in a while. So enjoy the photos.
Rock Out,
Sara-Lee.

Yet another attempt at a blog

Hi-de-ho!
So here I am trying once again to create a blog. I don't really want to create a blog, but I am because of blogger.
You see, blogger keeps fucking up my account, so when I try to leave comments on peoples blogs, it says my account doesn't exist, or that my password isn't valid. Bullshit blogger. This only started to happen when blogger changed over to all the google crap.
So once again, I have created a new account, carefully entered my password, making sure I correctly hit each key the desired number of times.
So if you stumble on to this blog, and there is nothing more than this opening post here, you know that blogger has screwed me over yet again. If there is more content, then finally, they have got their act together.
Rock Out,
Sara-Lee
